These terms apply to your use of gymproductreview.com (“the site”). “Gym Product Review”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of the site. By using the site you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please do not use it. Our privacy policy explains how information about you is handled.

1. What the site is

The site is an independent publication that compares gym supplements on what their labels list, what a serving or gram of the active ingredient costs at the brand's own store, how the listed amounts compare with the amounts used in published research, and sourced buyer ratings. It is provided for general information only. We do not sell products; any purchase is between you and the retailer.

2. Health and information disclaimer

Nothing on this site is medical advice. We describe what a label contains, what a dose costs, and the amounts published research used. That is not a recommendation that you take any product or any amount, and nothing on the site says that a product will have any particular effect on your health or is suitable for you.

• Talk to a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional before starting a supplement, especially if you are pregnant or nursing, take any medication, have a medical condition, or are under 18.
• Never ignore professional advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here.
• The U.S. Food and Drug Administration does not approve dietary supplements before they are sold.
• We do not test products. Figures are transcribed from labels and data published by brands, and a label can be wrong or change. Always read the label on the package you buy, including its allergen and warning statements.
• Scores and rankings are editorial comparisons produced by our published method. They compare label data, prices and buyer ratings; they are not assessments of any product's safety or quality.

3. Accuracy and corrections

We work to keep every figure traceable to its source and dated, and we print “insufficient data” rather than estimate. Even so, prices, formulas, labels and ratings change, and the site may be out of date or contain errors. Product pages name the source of each price, buyer rating and label, and the date each price and rating was read. If you find one that does not match its source, please tell us through the contact page; how figures are read and checked is set out in how we rate. We may correct, update or remove any content at any time without notice.

4. Prices and availability

Prices shown are those a brand's own store displayed on the date shown, and may have changed since. The price, availability and terms the retailer offers when you buy are the ones that apply.

5. Affiliate links

Some links earn us a commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Commissions never affect a rating. Details are in the affiliate disclosure.

6. Third-party sites

The site links to retailers, brands and published research that we do not control. Their content, products, terms and privacy policies are their own, and we are not responsible for them. A link is not an endorsement of the site or seller it points to. Questions about an order, a product or a refund go to the retailer or brand.

7. Intellectual property

The site's text, scores, tables, data compilations, design and code belong to us or our licensors. You may read and share the site, link to any page, and quote brief excerpts with a link to the page they come from. You may not copy or republish substantial parts of the site or its data, or present our ratings as a brand's or retailer's endorsement, without our written permission.

Brand names, product names, logos and other trademarks belong to their owners. We use them only to identify the products we describe; their use does not mean that any brand is affiliated with, sponsors or endorses us, or that we endorse it. Product photographs and label images belong to their respective owners and are shown to identify each product and the label we transcribed. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, email [email protected] with the page address and the details, and we will review it promptly.

8. Acceptable use

Please don't use the site in a way that breaks the law, interferes with its operation or security, or places an unreasonable load on it. Automated access must respect our robots.txt file and a reasonable request rate. Don't alter our scores or present them out of context in a way that misrepresents what they measure.

9. No warranty

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the site or any product you buy after visiting it. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars (US$100). Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

11. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

12. Changes

We may change the site or these terms at any time. Changed terms are posted here with a new date at the top and apply from then on; continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the changed terms.

13. General

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement between you and us about your use of the site.
