Accessibility statement
Last updated: October 22, 2026.
We want everyone to be able to use Gym Product Review, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, screen magnification, voice control, or high-contrast settings.
Our standard
Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We are reviewing the site against that standard; until the review is complete we do not claim full conformance, and we fix what it finds as it finds it.
What every build checks
The site is rebuilt and tested before each release, and the build fails if any of these slip:
- every data table has an accessible name, and every header cell is tied to its column;
- sortable ranking tables announce their starting sort order;
- every link that opens a new tab says so to assistive technology;
- every link made only of an image has an accessible name;
- body text, secondary text and link colours keep a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 in both the light and the dark theme.
Every page also has a “skip to content” link, a language declared for screen readers, and a light and a dark theme.
Known limits
- Supplement facts panels are photographs supplied by brands. The figures we use from them are given as text in a table on each product page.
- Pages can be read without JavaScript, but site search, the ranking filters and the compare tray need it.
- Links to retailers, brands and research papers lead to sites we do not control.
Report a barrier
If something on the site is hard or impossible for you to use, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened (and, if you can, the browser and assistive technology you use). We read every report, reply, and can send the information you need in another format while we fix the page.
This statement was prepared on October 22, 2026 from our own review and the automated checks listed above.
